System and network requirements
Kili Technology is optimized to run on Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers (for example, Microsoft Edge).
Modern front-end applications use lots of cutting-edge Javascript, and require most recent versions of browsers to perform well. Browsers are also continuously updated for performance and security improvements so consider always being on the latest available version.
Currently, Google Chrome is the only browser officially compatible with the Kili app.
Warnings
- Ad blockers with strict configuration can cause Kili app to malfunction.
- Some extensions may interfere with Kili app (resulting in various features not working).
- Other browsers may still work with Kili; we do not guarantee that everything will be working correctly, though.
Minimum requirements
To be able to connect to and start using Kili, you must meet these hardware and software requirements:
- 64-bit CPU
- 8 GB of RAM
- 50 Mb/s network speed
- Google Chrome v107 and above
Some labeling projects require more resources than others. This usually depends on the asset size and the number of annotations on the asset. Typically, Video and Satellite/Geospatial projects can be more resource-intensive than other project types. For resource-intensive projects, we recommend 16 GB of RAM and network speed of 200 Mb/s or faster.
